About
I'm a principal-level product designer and independent maker based in Milan, Italy. My work sits at the intersection of deep systems thinking, crafted interaction design, and hands-on product building.
I operate with the autonomy of a founder and the rigor of a craftsman. I design from first principles, ship to learn, and deconstruct complexity into usable systems.
Philosophy
"Understand deeply, build thoughtfully, and share generously to move the craft forward."
I believe curiosity must be proven through building, testing, and breaking things down to fundamentals. Elegant, durable solutions that meaningfully improve users' lives matter more than incremental surface changes.
How I Work
I follow a three-phase framework that's structured but non-linear:
- Understand: Define the right problem before falling in love with a solution. Stakeholder interviews, user research, competitive deconstruction. Words first, not pixels.
- Identify: Explore options, then choose the simplest path to value. Scoping, sequencing, edge cases, low-fidelity prototypes.
- Execute: Make it real, refined, and buildable. High-fidelity UI, interaction details, design systems.
Principles
- Embrace constraints. Limitations sharpen thinking and creativity.
- Show the work. Process, dead ends, and evolution matter.
- Outcomes over outputs. Success is solved problems and measurable impact.
- Design is a team sport. Engineers and product managers are co-authors.
Side Projects
I learn in public through self-initiated projects. They're laboratories for testing ideas and assumptions outside the constraints of client work.
